FireDance is an engaging testament to the impact, healing, and redemption available to those who forgive, when when it comes to the sensitive issues of sexual abuse.  In his first novel, Joseph Padgal, intuitively weaves the story with a compelling tapestry of threads from family generational issues, forgiveness, sexual abuse, and the redemptive love of God.  Written to offer hope and achievable steps toward healing, Padgal's book provides a clear understanding of how important forgiveness is and how essential it is in the healing process.

I just finished this book and thought it was well written and it almost brought me to tears a few times as I know how wicked this world can be. As a pastor who has , over the years, prayed and ministered to many people dealing with the issues this book addresses, I can recommend it as a good source on the power of forgiveness. This is an especially good book for people who deal with sexual abuse victims.  Truly, forgiveness and placing judgement in the hands of God is the only answer to emotional freedom-great book!

Encounters of a Divine Kind

"Almost certainly God is not in time.  His life does not consist of moments following another-ten-thirty-and every other moment from the beginning of the world-is always Present for Him.  If you like to put it this way; He has all eternity in which to listen to the split second of prayer put up by a pilot as his plane crashes in flames."

--C.S. Lewis, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

When I was privileged to read the manuscript to "Encounters of the Divine Kind" - I was instantly drawn in.  In this, the second book of a trilogy, Joseph Padgal turns a mysterious and delightful corner with the treatment of his subject matter.  I found this book to be even more than I was hoping for, after reading his first book, "FireDance."  Through his creative storytelling, Padgal offers the readers of his second book the opportunity to advance a giant step further toward their ability to forgive and experience peace.

Until He Takes Us Home

"This life we live, this lesson we learn by, has one of the most effective and profound of teachers - experience.

By it, we learn to change, and by changing we learn to grow."

Author Joseph Padgal

"Life is either a daring adventure or nothing.

To keep your faces toward change and behave like free spirits in the face of fate is strength undefeatable."

Helen Keller

"The most beautiful thing in the world is to love one another as God loves each of us,  and it is for this purpose that we are in this world."
