The Truth Will Set You Free

Here a truth, there a truth. Over here a half truth. If you don't like any of these you can settle for truisms, those are the bargain variety versions of truth. Usually when someone tells me their version of the truth and follows up with, "And thats the truth" I stare intently at him or her and say, "Do you know who the truth really is?" I know, it was rude of me to ignore what they just told me as if it were some kind of nonsense which in reality it could have been. On the other hand its a great lead-in for me to witness to them.

Hopefully they will answer me with "Okay, who IS the truth?" If they do, I'm off and running.
